1) I am admin.
2) In character post in third person and try to use proper spelling and grammar for the utmost of clarity. Spell check is there for a reason. If you are a less advanced rper I suggest that you might try for a younger character. I will be hardest on applications for the major characters such as: Ron, Hermione, and Draco.
3) At least 5 sentences per post. If you find you have trouble coming up with that go ahead and pm me and we can try to find ways to lengthen your posts.
4) Your displayed name must be a proper one such as: Harry Potter. Nicknames are fine as well.
5) You must be at least 13 years old to join this site (and hopefully a literate writer). As such, due to allowed age of members and proboard rules, adult content can be implied but not elaborated on.
6) Posts that have been abandoned for 7 days will be moved to the archives to keep boards clutter free. These of course can be brought back upon request.
7) Swearing is allowed. Any words I feel inappropriate have been left censored to something acceptable.
8) No godmoding.
9) You have to be accepted before posting in character.
10) Large signatures can stretch the board. Maximums of 300h x 550w is good. Oh, and only one full sized sig.
11) INACTIVITY leading to being deleted:
-If you do not create your character within 7 days of making an account we will delete the account. You are, of course, allowed to join again, but it helps us to have an accurate account of how many members we have.
-If you are accepted and do not sign in within 10 days
-If you don't post in a role-playing thread in a month.
-Canons will simply be deleted, but if an original is deleted I may put them up on the Lost Souls Wall. This means, with the second war in effect, that they have been killed or have disappeared. You may not apply for this original again... but again, you can have another original character by all means.
12) I also reserve the right to put your canon character up for grabs if you haven't been around for awhile and someone else wants them. This is because I actually don't have the heart to delete you because you're good, but want activity too.
13) No Mary-Sues. Everyone cannot be perfect.
14) Multiple Characters are allowed.
13) Original Characters are limited to a logical number that would be at Hogwarts (look for availability of ocs in the "Canons & Dead Names" thread), and I will not accept first or second years.
15) No theft or hacking. It’s just common courtesy folks.
16) You will find a couple more rules around the site that you must also adhere to.
